This water is often contaminated with varying levels and types of biological, chemical and solid waste as well as odors and potentially harmful gasses.

Prior to being released back into a sanitary sewer or into surface water, the treated industrial wastewater, or effluent, must comply with regulatory limits so it will not harm the quality of the receiving waters.

Our proprietary formulation of beneficial microbes thrives in a wide range of temperature; pH; oxygen; biological oxygen demand (BOD); chemical oxygen demand (COD); fats, oils and greases (FOG); and total suspended solids (TSS) conditions. When introduced into an industrial wastewater environment, our environmentally friendly microbes aid in the degradation and removal of these various contaminates found in industrial wastewater.

Our standard specifications are below. Additional custom specification and configurations are available on request. 


Targeted substrate: Wide range of organic and chemical compounds, proteins, starches, cellulose, fats, oils, greases, synthetic oils, hydrocarbons, and hydrogen sulfide.

Bacteria Count: 1B or 5B CFU/gram is standard. Also available in custom concentrations.

Performance Properties: pH 4.0 – 11.0; temperature range 45 – 120 degrees F (5 – 50 degrees C)

Packaging: 25 pound and 50 pound containers are standard. Other package and container sizing is dependent on final order.

Forms:

  • Powder or liquid form

  • Dissolvable packets (1oz, 2oz, 4oz, 8oz, 16 oz)

  • Tablets and blocks (varying sizes from 3 grams to 2 pounds)

Shelf Life: 24 months if kept dry and stored in the original, unopened container.

Standard Properties: Tan / off white, water soluble powder, salt carrier, earthy odor.

Application Rate: Every industrial wastewater application is different. Therefore, rate will vary based on a your specific environment and solution. For a standard 5B CFU/gram product, we recommend the following base application rate:

4 KG - 5 KG per 5.0M Liters on the following schedule:

  • First week - apply daily

  • Second week - apply every other day

  • Third and fourth weeks - apply once or twice a week

  • Afterwards, apply 1 - 2 KG per week based on pollution levels

This is a baseline protocol. You will need to test your water frequently to determine if it is achieving desired results and adjust the dosing accordingly. Rule of thumb is the lower the retention time and tougher the pollutants, the higher the concentration and more frequent the dosing.
